The Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) is a field production activity of DIA's Directorate for Analysis. MSIC provides critical scientific and technical intelligence support to the Department of Defense by providing the highest quality scientific and technical assessments of foreign air and missile defense missiles; counterspace systems; directed energy weapons; short-range ballistic missiles; anti-tank guided missiles; and the command, control, communications, and computer systems that support these weapon systems.

MSIC produces the Intelligence Community's most authoritative scientific and technical assessments of threat surface-to-air missile systems, ballistic missile defense systems, short-range ballistic missile systems, anti-tank guided missiles, ground-based anti-satellite weapons, directed energy weapons, and associated command, control, communications, and computer systems.
