GRE Scores

Graduate applicants must have taken the GRE General Test and scores must be reportable by the Educational Testing Service (ETS). Subject tests are not required. Graduate applicants must sit for the GRE General Test by November 1, 2012 to ensure that scores reach the SMART Program Application Coordinator, the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), by the December 1, 2012 application deadline. GMAT/MCAT/LSAT test scores cannot be substituted for GRE test scores.

Entering the registration number for at least one GRE General Test; Subject Tests is optional.

  1. Add a GRE Score – Provide the Registration Number, First Name on GRE, Last Name on GRE (in case test was taken under a different name), Test Type, and Test Date.

For information about requesting score reports sent to ASEE contact ETS at http://www.gre.org or (609) 771-7670. The GRE code for ASEE is 5140 (with no department code). You are responsible for ensuring that ETS sends official copies of your GRE scores to ASEE prior to the application deadline. All official GRE scores are sent electronically to ASEE.

You can monitor whether ASEE has received your GRE scores by looking at the "Application Status" page, both before and after you submit your application.
